1. Order Processing

We want you to get your pieces quickly.

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment is received.

  • Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

  • During launches, promotions, or high-volume periods, processing may take slightly longer. We’ll always do our best to keep you updated.

If we are unable to fulfil an item in your order (for example, if something goes out of stock at the same time you checked out), we will contact you using the email address or phone number provided at checkout.


2. Delivery Timeframes

Once your order has been processed and dispatched, typical delivery timeframes are:

  • Local orders (within South Africa): 2–5 business days

Please note:

  • Delivery estimates are guidelines, not guarantees. Courier delays, remote delivery areas, severe weather, or high seasonal volume can affect timing.

  • Deliveries take place on business days. Couriers generally do not deliver on weekends or public holidays.


3. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.

  • You will see the final shipping cost before you confirm payment.

  • Free shipping applies to orders over R1500 (after discounts, before any shipping fees).

If your order total drops below R1500 due to a partial exchange or similar adjustment, standard shipping rates may apply.


4. Tracking Your Order

  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email.

  • You can use that link to follow your parcel’s journey and get the most up-to-date delivery ETA from the courier.

  • If you haven’t received a tracking email within 2 business days of placing your order, please check your spam/junk folder first. If it’s not there, contact us with your order number.


5. Delivery Address & Responsibility

Please ensure that:

  • Your delivery address and contact number are correct at checkout.

  • Someone is available to receive and sign for the parcel during normal delivery hours.

If an address is entered incorrectly and the parcel is returned or cannot be delivered, additional re-delivery costs may apply.

Once tracking shows the parcel as “delivered,” responsibility for the package transfers to you. The Ivory Pearl Collective is not liable for parcels after successful delivery confirmation.


6. Missed Deliveries / Re-delivery

If the courier attempts delivery and no one is available:

  • The courier may try again, or

  • The parcel may be held at the local depot for collection, or

  • The parcel may be returned to us.

If an order is returned to us due to repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts, we can arrange re-delivery, but additional courier fees may apply.


7. Damaged or Missing Parcels

We take care to package your order securely. If your parcel arrives damaged or appears tampered with:

  1. Take clear photos of the outer packaging and the item(s).

  2. Email us as soon as possible with your order number and the photos.

  3. Do not discard the packaging, as the courier may request inspection.

If your tracking link shows “delivered” but you did not receive the parcel:

  • Contact us immediately so we can open an inquiry with the courier.

  • Courier investigations have their own timelines. We’ll keep you updated throughout that process.


8. Exchanges & Returns Impact on Shipping

Our exchange policy is handled separately, but please note:

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of sending items back to us for exchange unless we have confirmed a fault.

  • Replacement items will be shipped back to you once the exchange is approved. Normal delivery timeframes then apply.
